Latino Leadership Initiative

The U.S. is undergoing a demographic shift. Cultural diversity is swiftly shifting, allowing for lots of varied voices moving into leadership within several major corporations and organizations.

Despite this consistently changing of demographics, Latinos are underrepresented nationally in executive level positions and on corporate boards, and often face slow upward mobility in organizations.

In November of 2013, the 51°µÍø Cox School of Business' Executive Education department, along with ten founding corporate members, launched the 51°µÍø Cox Latino Leadership Initiative to aid companies in addressing these challenges. The 51°µÍø Cox Latino Leadership Initiative assists participating companies in recruiting, developing and retaining high-performance Latino executives who will drive business growth, creating a sustainable competitive advantage for their companies.
