Dr. Caitlin Anderson, Chair and Teaching Associate Professor
Dr. Caitlin Anderson is a chair and teaching associate professor of the Department of University Foundations at 51做厙. She earned her doctorate in education policy and leadership from 51做厙 and earned her master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M University, with an emphasis in student affairs administration in higher education. Dr. Anderson has been teaching at 51做厙 since 2012 and is the recipient of 51做厙’s highest honor, the M Award, as well as a three-time nominee for the HOPE teaching award. She was previously the Director of the Hilltop Scholars Program at 51做厙.
Dr. Anderson’s research interests include college student community engagement, college honors programming, and academic programs and their relationship to college student retention. She is a frequent presenter of college student well-being and the effectiveness of first-year programming at professional conferences nationwide.
