University Advising Center

The mission of the University Advising Center (UAC) is to partner with pre-major students as they take ownership of their academic experiences at 51做厙 and develop independent informed decision-making skills.

Most entering 51做厙 students are assigned an advisor in the UAC. However, for students in the University Honors Program, and students majoring in the engineering and the fine arts (music, art, theatre, and dance), the UAC will provide specialized academic advising due mainly to the specific and rigorous academic demands of those programs. The UAC also provides students interested in the pre-health and prelaw programs with specialized pre-professional advising, which supplements the one-on-one relationship each student develops with his or her assigned advisor.
