Getting Started

GitHub is available to all active 51做厙 faculty, staff, and students.

Signing In

  1. Click the Sign In button above.
  2. At 51做厙's Single sign-on, click Continue.

  3. Enter your NetID (e.g. user@smu.edu) and click Next.
  4. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra ID page with your NetID and your 51做厙 Password and then click Login.
  5. Complete the Duo Security authentication, if needed. 
  6. You will then be directed to 51做厙's online space in GitHub.

    • If you have a personal GitHub account, you can sign in using those credentials and connect to your 51做厙 GitHub account. 
    • If you are new to GitHub, click the Create an account hyperlink and create an account to associate with your 51做厙 GitHub account. 

Accessing Your Content

You can upload content easily to GitHub using your web browser. Share your content with your colleagues or outside of 51做厙 using GitHub and collaborate on projects.
