The 51°µÍø Guildhall Master of Interactive Technology (MIT) graduate video game program requires all students to have an undergraduate degree before enrolling. Most applicants will apply during their senior year in college or once they have graduated from a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree program. Our Professional Certification program does not have a degree requirement, but most students who apply have at least 2 years of post-secondary education.

Your primary decision before you start your application is to choose one of our four specializations. Game developers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, as it takes many perspectives and skillsets to create a game that looks great, works well, and resonates with a wide variety of players.
