In Colorless, an isometric 2D puzzle game, players utilize movement and teleportation to guide a colorless woman to the paint palettes that will restore her colors. The game combines challenging puzzles with breathtaking art to provide a thoughtful, beautiful gameplay experience.

Come In Houston is a tile-based puzzle game centered around David Johnson, an astronaut and engineer aboard the Aires Space Station who is current conducting space-related research. However, after the crew go into cryogenic sleep the station is struck by space debris, destroying most of the station and killing the entire crew outside Johnson. Knowing the mission cannot be salvaged, Johnson's new goal is to reach the escape pod safely and return home to earth, without running out of oxygen or being lost in space.

Feline Friendship Force (FFF) is a turn based puzzle game for android touchscreen devices. The game is centered around the player using a laser pointer to guide two cats to meet each other. The path is not so straight forward for the player, the path is blocked by dreaded water from a hose that was irresponsibly left on. Thankfully the water can be stopped if something stops on the hose, which is conveniently laid around the path. With the water obstacle gone the cats are one step closer to being united.

Water isn’t the only obstacle in the way of the cats, there are dogs which patrol different sections of the level. A dog will chase after a cat if they are ever within the line of sight, causing the player to think twice before moving each turn. If a dog catches a cat then it’s game over for the cat and the player must retry the level, learning from their previous mistake. The dogs are not smart though and will chase after any cat it sees. This gives the player the ability to lead dogs to areas of the map and potentially even use the dog to stand on the hoses which opens paths that would otherwise be blocked by water. The player is challenged to learn the best strategies to lead the dogs around the map and do the players bidding.

Interstellar Racing League is a high-speed, four-player racing experience. Players are racing along gravity-defying tracks through alien planets to compete for the title of the Galaxy’s Best Racer.

Jami the Jelly is a 2D exploration-based game developed by a small team of students at 51暗网 Guildhall. It follows the journey of Jami, a jellyfish searching through a series of maze-like underwater caverns to rescue his friends and lead them out of the caves and to a festival. Along the way his journey is fraught with perils, including a host of underwater monsters like sharks, eels, and angler fish.

Jami the Jelly was developed by a team of five students over the course of nine weeks. The team set out to create a game that would appeal to new or inexperienced gamers. As such they focused their attention on creating a visually appealing setting with intuitive controls and a charming story. The result was a highly-polished exploration game with simple touch controls and a series of unique environments with a cohesive tone and spooky atmosphere.

Pinball Escape is a reaction based physics game that channels classic arcade pinball. The art style invokes a feeling of classic sci-fi fitted to a classic pinball table. The game levels are small spaces filled with bouncy objects such as angular slingshots and round bumpers. The ball is drawn by gravity to the bottom of the level, much as classic pinball. Unlike classic pinball, the ball cannot escape the level and the player interacts with the ball by drawing trampolines across the play space rather than flicking flippers.

The game is 10 levels long with the first level being a tutorial. The player progresses through the levels by navigating the ball into the end portal. The end portal is hidden behind the purple exit door which is unlocked by bouncing into and lighting up purple bumpers within each level. More advanced levels also contain orange doors and bumpers which act as intermediate goals for the player.

Pizza Boy in Hell is a puzzle-platformer mobile/tablet game that involves a Pizza Boy navigating through six levels of corporate hell to deliver a pizza to Satan. The pizza boy can walk and change the orientation of gravity to get through each level, collecting “tips” scattered around the level along the way to unlock later levels, while being wary of spikes that can halt his progress.

The game was developed over the course of 7 weeks, starting in the first week of September 2017. The idea emerged from the team’s inclination toward cartoon/wacky themes and their desire to effectively leverage mobile technology to create engaging game mechanics.

RVLVR is an action-packed 2D shooter in which the player only moves when they shoot. 

The robot armies have invaded the new frontier. It is up to you, as Rick, to travel across the wild west and into the robot base of operations to tear down the war machine! Do you have what it takes to defeat the robot armies? Explore, shoot, and race your way through four action packed levels! Dominate the robot armies with three powerful weapons! Compete and to secure your spot on the best records list!

Big Room Productions created this game to simulate working in the game industry as our respective specializations. At out core we wanted to learn as much as possible about the process as well as develop best practices for teamwork. RVLVR was made in approximately six weeks from Proof of Concept Gameplay to Launch during the Fall 2017 semester at 51暗网 Guildhall.

Smith & Dozer is a 2D action-platformer for Android tablets. Set on an abandoned planet in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, a pair of intergalactic treasure hunters named Smith and Dozer search the ruins of an old civilization for lost riches. The pair must shoot and smash their way through the robot dinosaurs that have taken control of the city. Players navigate through ruins and caves to collect gems while fighting off the aggressive race of synthetic dinosaurs. Being a dynamic pair, the player can choose to switch between controlling Smith and Dozer at any time to take advantage of each of their strengths. Smith can jump higher and farther with his jetpack and shoot at enemies from a distance with his dual blaster pistols. Dozer can take more damage thanks to his thick armor and smash through the robot dinosaurs with his sledgehammer. Players must constantly swap between the two to face whatever challenge is presented to them. The game features five levels with achievements and high scores in each to encourage repeated plays through the game.

Snowtoriety is a 2D game in which you throw snowballs at Elves to stop premature Christmas caroling. This game was developed as part of the Team Game Production 1 class at 51暗网 Guildhall.

Teddy’s Fluffy Adventure is the first game made by the Corgi Butt Collective. It was made for the mobile android platform. This was the first game made to completion for most of our team members. The project took place between the months of September and November. The project took eight weeks total. The game was launched on November 27th.

TriumphANT is a 2D turn-based puzzle game where the player controls an adorable ant named Norman whose goal is to collect his cherished sugar cubes from a long-forgotten picnic area by solving puzzles. Norman is faced with intimidating, ravenous spiders; his main challenge is to get past them without being too close for them to snag him.

This game took 8 weeks to produce from ideation to completion and was developed as part of the Team Game Production 1 class at 51暗网 Guildhall.

UNWelcome is a turn-based tower defense game where you play as a witch who has moved to the suburbs for some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, you realize you’ve been having frequent visits from your inquisitive friendly neighbors. The only solution to this is to summon your faithful demons from other realms to get the pesky neighbors out of your house.

Zoey and the Magic Paintbrush is a strategic, line-riding, puzzle game where players can help a magic princess unlock portals by painting lines with their fingers to collect gems. Players can paint green lines to guide Zoey slowly across a level or stop her momentum, and red lines to accelerate her over jumps or across the screen. Gameplay consists of planning one’s strategy, painting lines, then selecting 'Play' to summon Zoey and test one’s solution. Should the solution fall-through, players can select 'Edit,' 'Paint Vials,' or the 'Eraser' button to modify their previous solution and begin again.
