About
Dr. Mea Ahlberg obtained her PhD in Public Policy & Political Economy at the University of Texas at Dallas with a concentration in International Conflict and Security. Before joining the 51°µÍø economics department as a senior lecturer, Dr. Ahlberg has had a successful business career. She brings with her over 15 years of teaching and education leadership experience. At 51°µÍø, she first began as an adjunct faculty at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business where she taught both graduate and undergraduate courses. Before coming to 51°µÍø, Dr. Ahlberg was a clinical assistant professor of Organizations, Strategy, and International Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research interests include cultures and global competitiveness, behavioral development economics, policy interventions, economics of international negotiations, conflict management, and formation of coalitions.
