My research explores the role of international trade in explaining real exchange rates and relative prices, the links between international trade and the process of economic growth & development, the global effects of demographic change, the dynamics of external imbalances, and the structure of production through input-output linkages. My work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals and Federal Reserve System publications. Prior to joining 51°µÍø, I was a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2012-2018 and actively provided economic analysis and policy briefings to the Bank’s president in preparation for FOMC meetings.
