The Symposium is the longest continuously running program of its nature in the country and one of 51°µÍø’s oldest and most distinguished traditions.

The Women's Leadership Cohort

The Women's Leadership Cohort is a year-long program that combines both cohort based and individual learning and development and while the focus is on women in leadership, the program is open all gender identities and anyone who would be interested in developing their leadership potential. Those interested are encouraged to  by September 19th. Selected participants will be notified by September 23rd.

Elect Her

Elect Her is a national, non-partisan program to encourage and train college women to run for student government and political office. The skills you learn in this workshop will transfer to many leadership opportunities throughout your life, not just student government.

March is recognized as Women's History Month (WHM). WHM can be traced back to the first International Women's Day, held on March 8, 1911. You can find out about all the programming that in happening on our campus for WHM though our March calendar of events.

The Aurora Celebration is held by the Women and LGBT Center in conjunction with the Women and Gender Studies to celebrate the many accomplishments of our 51°µÍø students and honor our graduating seniors.
