- I'm still quoting things the presenters said during school meetings, training and to parents. The RME Conference was the most valuable training I have been to.
- Mathematics instruction is only as informative as the teacher is knowledgeable. The more information I obtain, the greater the benefit is for the students. I wish to be the best possible for my students and my personal growth.

Breakout 2 – (Grades 3-5) Conceptual Understanding is built by comparing and contrasting various representations of an idea. In this session, participants will work through a purposeful sequence of questions about fractions that encourages students to compare and contrast multiple representations of their thinking and leads to conceptual understanding upon which they can build number sense and procedural fluency.
