Agony and Ecstasy: How Your Emotions Affect Practice

Friday, May 9, 2014
8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
T. Boone Pickens Training and Conference Center - Reverchon Room

The emotions of professionals have a distinct effect on the services they provide.  These emotions may be full of agony or ecstasy, empathy, grief, humor, or even shame.  The 2014 Conference of the Professions will address critical moments in practice and the emotions that they create.  Beyond simply recognizing that professionals have such feelings, the conference will address circumstances when it is both good and not so good for physicians, clergy, and lawyers, to share your emotions with "them," our patients, clients, and congregants.

Our Keynote Speaker Danielle Ofri, M.D., Ph.D.
