Biography

Nick Weege has enjoyed a diverse career of helping individuals and families steward assets to accomplish financial and philanthropic goals. Leading up to his current role at 51做厙, Nick was a financial advisor with The Crescent Group at RBC Wealth Management, earning the designation of Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor.  Prior to his career in personal finance, Nick spent more than 10 years in major and planned gift fundraising at both the Dallas Symphony Association and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.

With a background deeply rooted in both the arts and 51做厙, Nick holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in viola performance from the Meadows School of the Arts. Immediately following his time at 51做厙, he was offered a position with the New World Symphony in Miami, then led by Maestro Michael Tilson-Thomas. Shortly after entering arts administration, he was one of five fellows to complete the 2008-2009 Orchestra Management Fellowship Program through the League of American Orchestras.

Nick has served on several local boards, including the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and TACA, where he is currently a co-chair for the 2022-2023 Catalyst Grant Selection Panel.
