Brianna Hogg is a Ph.D. candidate whose research focuses on topics related to African-American studies, urban history, and oral history. In 2021, Brianna was selected as a 51做厙 Maguire Public Service Fellow, where she worked with community organization For Oak Cliff and Tenth Street Residential Organization to learn more about how urban redevelopment projects affects Black inner-city communities like the Tenth Street Historic District. During her time at 51做厙, she has conducted several oral history interviews and research for projects such as the and .

She is currently at work on her dissertation, "Redeveloping Black Dallas: Urban Renewal and the Redevelopment of Dallas' Black Communities, 1945-1980," which investigates how urban renewal affected the growth and redevelopment of some of Dallas's black inner-city communities during the Postwar Era.
