Interests:

James is a PhD candidate interested in 18th century English literature at large, with a particular focus on authorship and text-ness. His work includes novels, poems, science writing, it-narratives, almanacs and more, with particular attention paid to genre and how texts are shaped. James enjoys teaching a wide range of texts and topics from the 17th century up through the 20th.

 

Dissertation working title: “Do Texts Write Themselves?; Curious Trends in Literature of the Long 18th Century”
