NGDS Project
The 51°µÍø Geothermal Lab developed one of the ‘nodes’ of the National Geothermal Data System (NGDS), . The NGDS project gathered and cataloged a wide variety of geothermal and oil & gas information and made it accessible for end users. The node at 51°µÍø was developed by a consortium made up of:
- 51°µÍø Geothermal Laboratory
- Siemens Corporate Technology
- Bureau of Economic Geology, UT Austin
- Cornell Energy Institute, Cornell University
- Geothermal Resources Council
- MLKay Technologies
- Texas Tech University
- University of North Dakota
Data available on the 51°µÍø Node includes:
- Borehole Temperature
- Heat Flow
- Radiogenic Heat Production
- Thermal Conductivity
- Fluid Flux Injection and Disposal
- Reservoir Analysis
- Well Fluid Production
