Biography

With over 30 years of real estate industry experience across all product types, and both debt and equity strategies, Maria Stamolis joined Lincoln in 2023 as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Management. As Lincoln’s CIO, Maria leads the growth of the firm’s investment management business. She is focused on strengthening and expanding Lincoln’s relationships with institutional investors and growing the property portfolio across key markets and sectors.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Maria spent 16 years at Canyon Partners, where she was the Co-Head of Real Estate and Head of Asset Management, contributing significantly to the growth of the company’s real estate investment platform during her tenure. Maria contributed to raising nearly $6B of capital and oversaw the asset management of over $25B in loans and equity investments covering everything from complicated construction lending and workouts to preferred, common and co-GP equity investments. Over her career, Maria held roles at MBL Life Assurance Company, GE Capital, Oakwood International and Karney Management Company. She graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Economics and earned her MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.

Maria is a Board Director for The Minto Group and serves on its Compensation Committee. She serves on the Executive Committee and is a Board Director for Goodwill Industries of Dallas. In addition to co-teaching this RE Impact Fund Practicum, Maria is also actively involved with 51做厙’s Cox School of Business, serving as a Folsom Institute Advisory Board Member and is a voting Investment Committee Member of the 51做厙 Real Estate Impact Fund.
