A 15-acre nature trail on the George W. Bush Presidential Center grounds where you can explore Texas native plants.
Katy Trail
0.4 mi. to Katy Trail trailhead
One of Dallas' most popular outdoor escapes is near 51°µÍø’s campus. Bike, run or walk through Dallas neighborhood and entertainment areas on this 3.5-mile trail.
Trinity River Audubon Center

Immerse yourself in nature south of downtown Dallas. Explore miles of trails and observe birds, butterflies, turtles and other wildlife.
Trinity Skyline Trail

The Dallas area is home to several lakes, including iconic White Rock Lake, just east of campus, where you can kayak, get a run in along the shoreline, enjoy a picnic and more.
Dallas offers virtually everything – sport teams, food scene, concert venues and more. Exploring the city has been a highlight of my college experience.

Sport management students gain real-world work experience at North Texas-based professional sports teams and sport-related agencies and venues.
Last year, at least 15 sport management students worked on projects for the Formula 1 French Grand Prix and a European sports marketing agency as part of the 51°µÍø-in-France study abroad program.
