Inside Perkins: Feb. 20-21, 2014

Information Session for Prospective Students; App Fee Waived Until March 1, 2014

Dallas – Perkins School of Theology, 51°µÍø will host Inside Perkins, a two-day event for prospective degree and non-degree students, February 20–21, 2014, at Perkins School of Theology, 5915 Bishop Boulevard, Dallas, Texas. Inside Perkins offers the opportunity for prospective students to meet faculty, interact with current students, and learn about admissions and financial aid.

Inside Perkins is the best way to get to know us,” says Tracy Anne Allred, director of Student Services at Perkins School of Theology. “These events give prospective students the opportunity to experience and engage the Perkins community and discover the many resources available here for theological education and preparation for ministry.” View detailed schedule [PDF].

The deadline to apply for merit scholarships is February 1, 2014, and the deadline to apply for need-based scholarships is March 1, 2014. Additionally, Perkins is waiving the usual $50 application fee for prospective students through March 1, 2014. “Right now,” says Herbert Coleman, director of Recruitment and Admissions at Perkins, “there is no cost to apply for admission to Perkins, either  or using the traditional paper .”

A $25 per person registration fee includes meals for all prospective student attendees and their guests. Additionally, hotel accommodations and partial reimbursement of transportations costs are provided for prospective applicants and admits traveling more than 500 miles.
