Author Amity Shlaes to speak at 51做厙 on new Coolidge biography on March 6

Economist Amity Shlaes will talk Wednesday about her highly praised book on the 30th U.S. President.

Amity ShlaesDALLAS (51做厙) – , syndicated columnist and director of the , will speak at 51做厙’s McCord Auditorium at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, on her highly praised new book about Calvin Coolidge. The lecture is presented by the Center for Presidential History at 51做厙 and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

“The President Who Said No: Debt, Temperament and Calvin Coolidge’s Lessons for Today” is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and reservations are requested at .  Shlaes’ book will be available for purchase, and a reception and book signing will follow the lecture.

McCord Auditorium is located on the third floor of , 3225 University Boulevard.
