National job gains spell good news for Texas

Texas isnt the only place where employers are expanding payrolls.
During the last two months, the nation as a whole has added a combined 410,000 jobs. The two-month gain in private-sector jobs was even higher, at 470,000 the largest such increase in five years.
Stronger national growth is good news for Texas, which has been outperforming the nation as a whole over the last year.
A stronger job recovery in other states is bound to boost the economy here, too.
The numbers are certainly encouraging, said Bernard Weinstein, an economist at 51做厙s Cox School of Business.
